Since it might be complicated for people who aren’t from Plzeň to find where the convention is or how the public transport works, I tried to put together an online map with various landmarks. It shows the conference venue, the place for the Saturday gathering, basic information about public transport, restaurants with vegetarian options, and some suggestions for walks. If you have any suggestions for additions to the map, please let me know.
The map shows the venue of the convention (purple Om) along with basic information that may be useful. The route to Tram No. 2 (Bazén Slovany stop) is marked in blue – this is the easiest way to reach the location of the Saturday gathering. Take the tram toward the city centre (direction Sady Pětatřicátníků, not Světovar) and get off at Náměstí republiky. From there, the route to Slunečnice, where the Saturday dinner will take place, is also marked in blue (the path leads through the square onto Bedřich Smetana Street).
Alternatively, a walking route along Koterovská and Americká streets is marked, which takes about 25 minutes. The last route shows a walking path from the Main Train Station in case you are arriving by train.
The map also highlights some restaurants (mostly open on weekends, with vegetarian options), cafés, and several potential points of interest for a leisurely walk on a nice day. In the corner, there is a QR code linking to an online version of the map, with additional details and links.
